Hi

Payroll has run for all emplyees and it is has been posted also.

Now for 1 employee the payroll needs to be deleted.

I know, that I have to reverse the document and then only I can delete the payroll result of this employee. But will this reversal not affect all the payroll postings of all the employees?

please let me know how I can delete the payroll result of this particular employee without affecting anyone else

Totally misunderstood the question.

Yes, you have to reverse the whole document and re-post just like Sikindar mentioned.

Hi,

In G/L, Expense posting file all amounts are consolidated. So you cannot just reverse results for 1 employee.

Therefore you have 2 options:

1. Reverse posting, delete payroll results and re-run posting.

2. Next month: make employee inactive/suspended since start date, run retro-calculation and do posting. This posting will offset incorrect posting.

Cheers

No u have to reverse for all the people as the document is generated for all the employees so we cannot reverse for particular employee

note this can be a gap in SAP

and lets wait for other expert views

Well in that case, I guess doing adjustments in the next payroll, for this particular employee, will be a better option, rather reversing the posting document for all employees

I think it is a nice workaround.
