Default Value in ME21N for all users

Hi Experts,

Greetings to all...

I wish to ask following question:

1. I wanted to assign the default value in some of the fields (e.g Purchase Org, Company code etc) of ME21N screen for all the users. Whereas I know that the default value can be set on individual user level but wanted to know if there is any way I can set this for all the users?

2. Moreover I wanted to rearrange the columns that appear in the Item Overview of ME21N/22N/23N. e.g. I wanted to pull the requisitioner column before material number. So wanted to know if it is possible to do it such that all the users will see the same layout.

The personal settings are stored in table ESDUS.

do the settings for one user, then see how ESDUS is filled. then you have to use an ABAP to create entries for new users

In the Configuration Tab at the Top right hand corner of the Item Overview, Click on the 'Short documentation' (Tab with 'i' icon)tab at bottom for Step by step instructions, Scroll down in that screen for that

Hi ,

1) There is an Option of Personal Settings in ME21n where you can set Default Values in certain fields for the specific User ID.For all User IDs Go for Screen Variant.

2) To Rearrange the columns , simply drag the column to the specified place . There is a Small Multicolored button "Configuration"on Right side of the screen . Save your settings as a Variant with that configuration link.

You can try this with SHDO with Screen Variant.

This can be done by the 'Table Setting" Layout for Configuration, Check the Configuration button at the Top right hand corner of the Item Overview
