Deadline Monitoring of Batches using SLED

Is it possible to do deadline monitoring of batches using SLED instead of next inspection date using

QA07 option

i.e. it should pick up date = SLED - 100 days (and not next inspection date given in MSC3N)

Is there any alternative available at transaction or config level to do the same

The recurring inspection function in QM allows you to monitor the expiration date of the batches. The inspection date and expiration date is calculated during GR of the Batch. Inspection type recurring inspection to be maintained in the material master. Also inspection interval to be maintained.

A report program periodically monitors the batches in the warehouse and checks whether:

- SLED is reached or exceeded

- Inspection date is reached or exceeded.

If the inspection date lies within the time frame a lot can be created.

Current date + lead time > Inspection date. The lot is created only if the batch is in stock and status is released.

Current date + lead time> Batch expiration date. The batch status is then changed to restricted.
