Hi Tahir Hussain,

In general, I would suggest to proceed with "cleaning" and reinstalling the Client.

The issue that you describe does occur sometimes after an Upgrade and

can be remedied using the steps below:

+ check if the ALD is visible under Add-on Administration;

if yes, please remove

+ in Business One via Tools/User Tables open the Table "BFEXTDBVERSION"

=> remove all entries via right-click

+ close Business One

+ via Settings/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs, check if the ALD

is still visible;

if yes, please remove

+ in the Business One Client Folder (Default: C:\Program Files\SAP

Manage\SAP Business One) delete the following:

  • Folder "AddOns"

  • File "AddOnsInstall.sbo" und "AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo"

+ in the Windows Temp Folder (%temp%) delete the following:

  • Folders:

"SAP Business One AddOns AdvancedLayoutDesigner"

"SAP Business One Log"

  • Files:

"Setup_LDA.exe" etc

+ in the Registry (please make a backup!!!! File/Export/Export Range =

All) delete the following:

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAP Manage\SAP Business One\AddOn

+ in System32 delete the following:

(C:\WINDOWS\system32 (for WinXP) or C:\WINNT\system32 (for Win2000)

  • Files:

+ restart Business One and register the Addon again, restart Business

One again so the installation of the Addon can restart
