Hi Experts

while updating Business Partner master data iam getting this error "

DB corruption - field 'Number' is empty for non-manual series"

Some one in group mention SAP has provided a query to fix for this .Can anyone share the query or help me out from this issue

For the query fix, if there needs to be one, cannot be run without approval of the SAP Support. Please consider before running any fix yourself.

Hi,

As per SAP note 2242565 - Error When Updating Business Partner Master Data, you have raise ticket to SAP to fix this error.

I dont have s userid and pswd to raise to ticket to SAP .Please can any one help me really iam in need of urgency first i will test in Test Database and then do it in live .Please send me query for the above error

Please contact your SAP Partner, they should have provided you with the necessary S user id.

Hi Jennifer,

With database corruption, it is always best to go through SAP support. You will get the correct fix, and if this issue is a symptom of a larger (known) problem, it is possible that another fix must first be performed.

Once the issue is fixed, you can save the fix and information about the issue and solution. If the issue reoccurs, you can then apply the fix yourself reliably.
