Damage & Cause Code in Notification

Hi All,

While TECO 'ing the maintenance order in IW32, I want to make the Damage and Cause Code fields mandatory. If I make these fields mandatory in customization, while entring the notification itself, I have to fill those fields which will not be known at that time. I din't get the proper user-exit. Can anybody help me.

You can maintain these fields as mandatory using T.code OIAL.

If we make it mandatory, while creating notification itself we have to give the cause and damage which will not be known at that time.

Dear Babu

If you are entering in the notification and there you need to maintain the damage code and cause code mandatory then you have to user exit which Sujit has refered to.

check where is the issue coming and revert back
