Custom field with entry help from a standard field

Hello

We want to create a new custom field but with the entry help from a standard field, for example a WBS element.

You define the custom field with type "Assosiation to business object".

But only the followings Business Objects are available: Country value help, Language, Marketing product, Marketing product category and Profit center value help.

It is possible to define more Business objects for referencing in a custom field?

Dear Amith,

If I am understanding well, you mean that only a custom business object can be associated to a custom field, so if, for example, we want to refer to WBS elements, we must create a custom business object in which WBS elements must be replicated. Is it like that?

Hi Mario,

Yes this is my understanding as well, only CBO can be associated to a custom field, if we select the 'Type' as Association to Business Object. Thanks! Amith Nair

How to keep that CBO updated when ever new WBS is created ? Any suggestion or example ?

Hi, we can't find a way to fix it. We were not able to create F4 Helps from a Standard fields using CBO.
