Hi fnds,
I need some clarification about <b>CST and LST nums</b>,with out this what v can not do in Sale s flow,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and what is the <b>TIN num</b>,is ti mandatory in India.

Hi Venkat
Without CST & LST, you cannot do billing for domestic customers.
TIN number will come into picture for Vendors which is mandatory in India which is nothing but LST.

CST is Central Sales Tax, now it is 3%.
LST is local sales tax, which is now called as VAT, it also varies depending on the state, but most of the places its 4% only.
I dont have any idea for TIN, update me if you got any idea.
If you are asking about LST & CST Number, then its the registration no. like we put the VAT registration No. in Customer Master Record, generala data view.

If v not getCustomer CST and LST nums in Purchase Order,wot are the transactions v can not do in Sales Flow.is it Mandatory or its a optional.
wot are the Effects in System.
adn just now i got a Information on TIN num,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it's a Taxpayer identification number it is used in Phillipiens nad US.
