Gurus,

I have an assignment of creating a report, in which I have to show the output of a single column (forgein currency payment) in multiple column currency example dollar in dollar column, euro in euro column, Rupees in rupees column etc and also how to merge two columns in the report example euro and then the euro amount. Please advice what should be done in crystal reports to get the desired result.

Hi Faisal,

A command by SQL query would be an easily solution for your goal. You may build a PIVOT query to separate the currencies easily.

Thanks,

Hi Faisal

Set up a formula variable for each currency type and add the amount to the appropriate variable depending on the currency.

Then use these variables as the fields to be printed in the columns.

Hi Faisal,

the easiest way would be to group by currency.

Just select in the menu: Insert -> Group

Then select the currency field.

Best regards,
