creation of product group

I am getting error "The field is defined as required field ;it does not contain an entry"

please suggest the solu

Hi,

I think you are using ECC 6

Create product group as material through MM01. Select Material type as PRODUCT GROUP. Then proceed

The problem is that I am getting error for one palnt and for other plant it is allowing me to create product group.

You mean to say while creating a product group for a specific plant in MM01 in one particular field you

are getting this error,am i right?If so means at which point you get this error?

Try copy from the allowable plant.

Also, give which field it's asking that information

I have tried in my IDES, it's working fine.

Most probably, there may be some data is missing for that particular plant.

If the field is not ready for input, check whether the material is locked. If it is locked, the material must first be unlocked. This can be done only by a user with special authorization. Contact your system administrator.
