Creating Split Item Object

Hi,

I’m trying to create a Split Item object using a PDI solution or a SOAP call. However, I haven’t been successful so far and haven’t managed to create this object automatically.

Do you have any suggestions or guidance on how to achieve this?

Dear customer,

Currently we haven't provided the PSM release for the button Split Open Items. That's the reason you cannot achieve this by coding an add-on solution.  

I also have confirmed that there is no existing node for the action Split in the corresponding WSDL. So using API wouldn't be achieve this either.

The current BADI_FOP_TRP_ITEM_SPLIT doesn't work for your specific case due to missing ability to add the Customer Account and this would need to be logged as a new feature request. You can suggest any change at our Customer Influence web site available at: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/886. In our Customer Influence website, other customers can see your ideas and inputs and if they are interested, they can vote for this requirement and it will support us to get this included into our backlog for a future release, with more votes, more are the chances of getting this functionality implemented.
