Hi All!

How can I create the Reserve Invoice using SDK? Code C#:

SAPbobsCOM.Documents dSale =

(SAPbobsCOM.Documents)Sbo.Instance.Company.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oInvoices);

dSale.DocObjectCode = SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oInvoices;

In this code I want create the Reserve Invoice.

What item must I select in SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes list instead of SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oInvoices?

Thanks

Hi Gennadiy,

Yes, you create an invoice as you would a normal invoice. You just set this property:

oDoc.WareHouseUpdateType = SAPbobsCOM.BoDocWhsUpdateTypes.dwh_CustomerOrders

Hope it helps,

Adele

Hi Adele.

Thanks.

Beware,

The possibility to create Reserve Invoices this way has been exposed by mistake!

It may corrupt the database (wrong JE created). This possibility no longer exists since SBO 2004 Patch 32 onwards.

Hi Adèle,

I am the one who reported the bug

Have a look at sap note 847937 (you can find it on the

marketplacce) :

+Symptom

It is not possible to create an A/R or an A/P reserve invoice with the DI API. This object is not yet exposed.

Do not use "BoDocWhsUpdateTypes" property of the document object, since it will not produce a valid document but it will corrupt the Database.

Due to a bug, the value of the "BoDocWhsUpdateTypes" property can be changed.

Other terms

reserve invoice, BoDocWhsUpdateTypes, DI, document, property, documents object

Reason and Prerequisites

BUG

Solution

The "BoDocWhsUpdateTypes" property will be blocked in a patch.

The Reserve invoice will be exposed in future version.
