Costing Run

HI EXPERTS,

We have concerns on the revaluation value and would like to postpone the release of costing run. In this regard, we would like to know what are the impacts of not releasing the costing run for 2012.

1. Will there be an issue at the time of goods issue for production if there are no valid cost estimate?

2. Any impact on the open production orders at the time of confirmation or goods receipts?

3. Will there be an issue at the time of delivery?

4. What would happen with the custom program that splits the COGS into variable and fixed cost? Will it take the existing rates to split or will it fail / error out ?

5. Any other impacts ????

It will use existing std cost estimate.Otherwise system won't allow you to confirmation of goods receipt.

Check the validity of 2011 costing run. Generally it will be upto 31.12.9999 and in such case there will not be any issue /impact/problem or anything like that even if you do not run 2012 costing run. System by default will take 2011 costing run and do all calculations.
