Cost centre in internal order

Dear all

In our company we are using statistical internal orders for employee related expenditures.Each employee internal order is attached to a cost centre for actual postings.The problem we are facing is when the employee is trasnferred to a new department,in that case to assign the employee to new cost centre ,we are creating new internal order for the same employee.It is becoming very difficult to track the expenditure of the employee with more than one internal order number.

Can we change the Actual cost centre attached in the internal order for a given time interval

Implement note 198036 and you can change CC in IO After Posting

They would remain on the Old Cost center and nothing would happen to them.. SAP recommends not to change this Cost center in IO Master

In case you are interested in alternate solution, I would prefer a small development and this would be my proposal

Create Stat IOs w/o Actual Posted Cost center...

Create a Z Table mapping Stat IO and the Cost center... You can also include From To Dates if you wish

Use exit RGGBS000 (OKC9) to populate the Cost centers from this Z table when entry is posted to These Stat IOs listed in this Z Table

With this, your employee can change 100 depts, but you wold not need to create new IOs
