Hi Gurus,

In In - process inspection, I want to copy the result of one operation from result of the another inspection lot operation.

Is there any options for Copying the values of inspection result from one inspection lot to another or muliple inspection ?

Please suggest me how to do that ?

Eg:

After melting process the casting from one furnace will be poured for many Rolls. So the characteritic value of the furnace should be same for all the roll. I can't make result recording for all the rolls .

So the result of the sample should copy from one inspection lot to another lot or multiple inspection lot.

Thanks & Regards,

Srinivasan.

Yes Srini,

It's absolutely available Pls refer this document.

[Copy Inspection result from one lot to another|http://www.sapdb.info/category/articles/]

It may ask you to activate a BADi, if it ask you so then

go to SPRO-> Quality Management->Environment->Tools->Communication with Quality Inspection Engines--->execute :- BAdI: Copying of Inspection Decisions for Externally Triggered Inspection and activate the Implementation that is obstructing you to go further (It is out of my memory but it must be "QEC_RESULT_COPY")

Best Of Luck,

Hello Srinivasan,

if you are using an SAP system higher than 4.7 you can consider using the BAdi QECOPY for the desired functionality. With this BAdi you can copy results from one inspection lot to another.

I hope that this information helps resolve your issue.

Srinivasan,

You need to use the Follow-up action facility of QM and use a Function module with your own logic and code to perform this work for you.
