Hello all,
so where would you control, if you want to reference one OR with another OR, and wanna makes sure that the quanitity gets reduced in the original OR, say for example 50 pieces OR, and if you make 30 pieces OR referencing the the original. would the original OR be reduced by 30 pieces.
regards
Dear Dilip,
As Explained by Mr. Lakshmipathi,
T. Code: VOV7
Maintain Filed-entry as "B - Item is completed after full quantity has been referenced"
is one part of the setting. Apart, also maintain -
T. Code: VTAA - Copy Control b/w two Sales Docs (Say, OR1 --> OR2)
Select your Combination and Double Click: Item (left hand Dialog Structure)
Double Click on to Item-Category.
On to next Page, there is Field: Copy quantity
Based upon Filed-entry, System behaves with respect to Copying-Quantity, at the time of Sales Doc. creation with reference to another Sales Document.
Also, within T. Code: VTAA, if you go to "Header", there is one Filed: Complete reference.
If you mark this field as "Ticked", System will Refer Sales Document1 as complete, only, while creating Sales Document2.
Important: If you have Sales Order1 with one line-item, with qty 50; and you are creating Sales Order2 with reference to Sales Order1, and if you copy only Qunatity: 30, while referring Sales Order1; Next time system will allow to copy only remaining Quantity, i.e. 20; in to Sales Order2 from Sales Order1, for the same line-item.
Rememeber: refering Quantity 30, out of quantity 50 from sales order1, doesn't mean that in Sales Order1 qunatity will become 20 from 50. It simply means out of 50 quantity, only 20 remains for reference.
Best Regards,
Amit

Hi friend.
I think this scenario will work only if the original document be a contract.

Dear Dilip
The control is in your item category where there is a field "Completion Rule". You have to maintain B there.
thanks
