Copy Inspection Results

Dear All

I am trying to copy Inspection results from previous Inspection lot. I did the necessary configuration in QM also made the settings in inspection plan.

When I try to copy the results from previous inspection lot system prompts for the selection of previous Inspection lot. After selecting the proper lot & executing the transaction the results are not being copied on the screen.

Can anybody tell me where am I making mistake?

I need information about how to check & activate the extension set. (EA-PLM). Can anybody tell me?

Hi Avdhut,

The best way to solve is, go to your Basis guy, hence it;s their mother domain.

Go to SPRO-> Quality Management->Environment->Tools->Communication with Quality Inspection Engines--->execute :- BAdI: Copying of Inspection Decisions for Externally Triggered Inspection and activate the Implementation that is obstructing you to go further (It is out of my memory but it must be "QEC_RESULT_COPY")

If it doesn't work,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Refer the OSS note 855959 - Activation of Extension Sets via SPRO not successful.

I think all your doubts regarding to this Enhancement package will get resolved.

The big warning is given there in that note itself about implementing the EA-PLM enhancement is.....

Once an Enterprise extension set has been activated, it cannot be de-activated by de-selecting the option in the SPRO or otherwise, because BC Set activations cannot be undone.
