Copy control from SO to PR/PO

Client currently manually copy SO’s long text to PR/PO’s long text. However, we are not able to find any copying rules or relevant settings in S4/Hana Cloud Public Edition can bring information from SO. Please advise best practice in order we can configure the system to copy long texts from SO to PR/PO automatically.

please clarify what process it is involving copy texts from SO to PR/PO, for example what scope item, is this 3rd party sales or intercompany sales?

User creates SO and generate PR by MRP. Also, they require to transfer some SO information eg. end customer remarks/ carton label remarks/ shipmark remarks to PO for vendor to followup.

Hi Connie,

you find the configuration option in SSCUI 105962 (Define Copying Rules for Item Texts in Purchase Requisitions). 

Here you have the option the maintain, which texts from various sources (e.g. sales order) will be transferred into which PR item text type. Documentation for this SSCUI is included in the CBC.
