Hi,

I have say 10 customers 5 are domestic and 5 are export customers

Domestic customer should be assgined to Customer Hierarchy 1

Export customers shoulbe be assigned to both Customer Hierarchy 1  and Customer Hierarchy 3.

(Note : - Customer Hierarchy 1 and 3 are COPA Characteristic)

When I pull a KE30 report for Customer Hierarchy 3. Domestic customers show up as "not assigned" !!

Domestic Customers are not suppose to show up in Customer Hierarchy 3 .  They should not be assigned to Customer Hierarchy 3, I dont understand why it appears as "Not assigned".

How do I get rid of "non assigned" category??

Am using a standard drilldown KE30 Report.

Its not that its unassigned...it should not be assigned at first place !

Hi Ajay,

Yes am manange to hide those. But this is not something we wanted. If a customer hierarchy is not applicable to a customer. Why does it has to show as unassigned.  I tried changing the derivation strategy also - derivation should only be carried out if Account Group is export Account. Still I dont understand why the domestic customers show up as unassgined .

Hi Khyati

When you execute COPA report, input Cust Hier 3 NOT EQUAL to #. In COPA reports, Not assigned values are referred to with #

Hi Khyati,

there are many ways to do that. You can try the option of using "Gen Data selection" in the copa from layout or report menu, and there specify cust hier 3 NOT EQUAL TO Blank. This will eliminate those records from report

Thanks.

Thanks Kishore. I will try doing that and update you the results.

I was experimenting with "Exceptions" functionality, will see how that works too.

But ideally I thought it should not show as not assigned because its not suppose to have that assignment.

When its not supposed to have that assignment, I wonder why it has to show " not assigned"
