Hello sap prof,
Contract
1. I have created assortment module
2. created contract (va41), in contract , I kept the assortment module no
3. With ref to contract , I tried to do order.
Here it is taking but it is not telling Release Order,
it is only telling standard order and this is saved.
What could be the problem . or it is right . It has to be release order know.
Hi,
When you create a contract using va41 and if u save that it will generate a no
So when you want to create a sales order you have to use ref of that no then only the data will be copied to release order.

Let me explain the whole process:
Process Flow:
WSV2>VA41>VA01>VL01N>VF01
WK1 OR LF F2
<b>Assortment Module:</b>
Menu path: Easy Access / Logistics / Sales & Distribution / Master data / Products / Value Contract / Assortment Module / Create
T. Code: WSV2
Specify the description and list out the materials that are going to be participated in the Value Contract with validity periods.
Save it and note down the assortment module number.
<b>Create Contract:</b>
Menu path: Easy Access / Logistics / Sales & Distribution / Sales / Contract / Create
T.Code: VA41
Specify the validity periods, assortment module number with target value in the line item and save the document.
<b>Create Order </b>- VA01:
Here we create an order with reference to the contract number created above.
In that Click on Expand Assortment option.
Enter the values as required, press enter and the materials get selected.
Click on the Back button.
Again select the line item and click on the Copy button in the top LHS.
System copies 2 line items and processes the sales document.
Followed by Delivery Vl01N
And billing - VF01.
Hope it helps.

i think you used standard order as release order. we can use seperate relase order or std ord for this purpose.
