Contract Release Option (Button) is not appearing on ME35K screen

Hello Expert,

When contract approver is trying to release/approve the contract by using transaction code ME35K (scope of list ALV) then Release option button is not appearing to release the contract.

We asked user to use scope of list "RAHM" where release/save option is appearing. But user wants to release the contract by using scope of list "ALV"

Requesting you to help me out to resolve this issue.

Hi Neeta,

Please check layout and if filter is maintained. It is possible that you have a filter maintained in layout where deleted line should not appear and it is possibe the first line in contract is having deletion indicator and hence release possible option is not visible.

Hello Neeta,

There is an icon (release possible) in the right side of the item number in ALV list. If it is showing as "release possible", once it is clicked the document is released.

Do you mean to say icon at left side of item number? If yes then my issue is release possible Icon is not appearing on ME35K screen when ALV is used.
