Const. type field in master data

Hi all,

In master data (func. loc. & equip.)  in structure tab  construction type field is there. It will allow only one BOM number. now suppose if the Technical object have more than 1 material BOM, where we can enter others.

Shall we define others as sub equipment?

Create a multilevel BOM.

NOTE: you can use PM Assemblies (material type IBAU) to create BOM nodes

For Example:

Main BOM (IBAU)

- Electrical Spares (IBAU)

-- Cable

-- Junction box

-- Etc

- Mechanical Spares (IBAU)

-- Pump

-- Brearings

-- Rotor

You can not have more than one BOM for technical object. However if you create material bom then that BOM can be used to many technical objects.

How a technical object is having more than one BOM ?

you can ave different assemblies in BOM

We can have  more than 2 material BOM, it may be  possible that  a equipment's 2  or more spare part can have their own BOM.In that case if we can give only 1 BOM number in const. type.

If you have multiple boms which required for eq/Fl and want to group them all as one BOM  then you will have to create individual BOM for each tech object. Or follow the way PeteA suggested.
