Confirmation in Production Order

Hello Guru,

in the production order "Confirmation of Production Order Display:Detail" can you explain me the difference of the field CREATED BY and ENTERED EXTERNALLY in the ADMINISTRATION tab:

where in CREATED BY it has (entered by and entered on)

while in ENTERED EXTERNALLY it has (created by and created on)

How this two filed been populated and differ?

If, for instance, you were using xMii for production confirmations then one entry shows the xMii system and the other shows the SAP user name.

Hi,

Entered by refers to the user who has entered this confirmation.

Entered on refers to the date and the time when this confirmation was entered.

Created by refers to Name of the person, who originally entered the confirmation, if it was created in a non-SAP system or using SAP fast entry for confirmations

Created on refers to the date and time when this was entered.

Hello,

Thus it means that when the ENTERED EXTERNALLY was been populated, there were REPROCESSING happen to the order cnfirmation even it was done already?
