Can any one explain me about "Condition Supplement" in Pricing, How it will work...?

hi,

condition supplement ia a group of conditions that should be applied every time a certain condition is found

for example , if you define a material price , you would enter condition records for every material and the associated price for those materials

if for one of those materials,if you want to include a discount every time that price is determined you can enter the additional condition type discount as a condition supplement

SAP determines the condition record in the pricing procedure , it will automatically also include the discount condition record

procedure:

1.define the pricing procedure for condition supplement in V/08

go to new entries and assign condition types PR00,K004,K005

2.assign the pricing procedure in the master data section of the condition type PR00 in v/06 and save it

3.go to vk11 and specify condition type PR00 and maintain condition record. then select the line item then go to goto button in the menu bar and select the condition supplement and maintain the condition records for k004 and k005 save it.

4. then go to va01 and raise the sales order, select the line item and go to condition screen and check the condition supplement effect.

<b>I will start with a Example: </b>

If you have a Price Condition (PR00) for Item A say 20 USD & if you want give some kind of discount say 5% every time you give this item A to customer, you will enter the Discount Condition Type and 5% Discount in the Condition Record of PR00 as a Condition Supplement

Now,while processing the Sales Order, when the PR00 Condition Type accesss the Condition Record for 20 USD, It also automatically triggers the 5% Discount which was supplemented to it.

<b>Definition of Condition Supplement:</b>

A condition supplement is a supplement for a particular condition type. For example, you can include a supplement every time you apply a material price. The supplement can contain various discounts. During pricing, the system automatically applies the discounts defined in the supplement every time it accesses a material price. You define the condition types for which you want to use condition supplements in Customizing for Sales.

Customizing:

The Condition which you want to make as a supplement (eg: K004) should be first place in the respective Pricing Procedures (eg: PR0000 & RVAA01). Then the Condition Supplement Pricing Procedure (PR0000) should be entered into the Master Data Defintion of Conditon Type (V/06) in which you want to give a condition supplement (eg: PR00) at the Pricing Proc Field (V_T685A-KALSM).

Including a Condition Supplement in a Condition Record

To include a condition supplement choose:

Goto-->Condition supplement on the overview screen of the condition record (VK11) of PR00. You can then enter the data for each discount in the condition supplement.

Condition supplement:

When the business want to give certain condition ex: discounts, for all the customers and materials till certain periods then business can use the future, that is condition supplement where we specify the discount condition types as a condition supplements along with base price. To implement this condition supplement future, one separate PP should be define and assign to particular condition type ex: “PR00” and condition records should be maintain then whenever system uses the Pr00 condition type those discount condition type also accompanies PR00 condition type.

Configuration setting:

Step:-1 Define new PP V/08 ex: M0RN1 and include conditions that are going to be participate as a condition supplement for base price , click on control data under dialog structure and enter the condition type

Step2: - Specify this new PP with pricing procedure field of master data section at a definition of PR00 (V/06)

Condition type (PR00) pricing procedure MORN1 save and exit

Step3:- go to VK11, specify condition type PR00 select line item, go to “Go to” button—condition supplement and maintain condition records for K005, K006, K007, save & exit.

Step4:- go to VA01, go to “Go to” button—item—conditions – check condition supplement effect

procedure:

1.menu path: spro>img>SD-> basic fn-> define condition type-> choose-> PR00->go inside come down-> in master data view u will find pring procedure has<b> PR0000-pricing proc for condition supplement</b>.ensure this

2. goto condition type k004----> here also in master data gibve the PR0000

3. now goto tcode:VK11-> enter PR00-> enter the prices----> in menu bar -> click GOTO> selsct condtion supplement-> give K004--. enter discount->

4.create sales order & see in condtions view

irrepectiev of customer, any one purchase this discount is applicable

Hi

condition supplement is one of the scenario in the Pricing .

the process of the scenario is that if the company wants to give the discount for eac and every customer irrespective of the customer then the busness wil use this condition supplement

for example if the customer want to buy the material then the business want to give the discount on the base price ,so that the supplement discounts will be given to the base price so that the customer will geast the discount on th base price

this type of the condition will be given irrespective of the customer and material for some specific time period

configuraton steps:

1.define the condition supplement procedure in the pricing procedure that is in the tcode v/08

2. giv ethe base price that u defined and tenassign the conditions that u want to give the customer as discounts so that u can trigger these conditions in the sales order

3. then give the defined condition supplement procedure in the v/06 that is the condition type .. assign it in the control data table pricing procedure field.

4. gto tcode vk11 and maintain the condition records for the condition suplemtn base price and click on the extras in the menu bar and then conditions supplement option then maintain the condition discount types that u can give with value to the customer

5.goto va01 and raise the order then view the condition supplement effect in the condition tab in the item overview screen
