Hi All

My client is located in india. They got one construction project in USA. It takes time to complete more than two years. My client will do all activities in usa. My client is using Project systems.

My question is here

do we need to create company code in usa?

if yes means do we need to define operating chat of accounts for usa company code? or can we assign india company code chat of accounts?

Hi, Krishna Kumar,

If you client does not require to generate B/S and P/L per USA government requirement, they do not require to create any operation concern, chart of account or company code for the US project. You just create the US project as did to local ones. The postings will be tranlated to local currency and controlling currency automatically by the system.

Thanks for reply. so as per yours there is no need to create company code in usa. we can maintain all activities through indian company code. Am i right?

if he wants to get all cost and business information and financial reports according to Indian legal requirements then he has to create company code and Chart of Accounts in India or vice versa
