Raj,
COGI erros are the failed backflushing postings during confirmation. As you are aware when you perform the confirmation the system automatically postes the Goods issues to the order if you have activated backflushing through any of the means.
The backflushing generally fails due to any of the following reasons:
1) Stock not available in the Materail/plant/storage location/ batch in the required quantity.
2) The period in which the Posting date falls is closed for material movements/ financial postings.
There could be others reaons too for which it could fail.
To clear the failed postings you get in to the COGI transaction. If the stock has come into the system by this time then you could select those records and save. This will clear the COGi records. You could also change the date of posting so that the goods issues could happen in the current open period.
Failed goods issues are highlighted in order display (CO14) in Goods movements overview. Once cleared the highlight (in blue) would disappear.
Hope this clarifies your query about COGI.
regards
ram

Raj,
Failed Goods Movements Processing - COGI
Use
This function allows you to process goods movements that failed when posting confirmations. After correcting any errors that occurred, you can then post the goods movements a second time.
Cause of errors
Errors can be caused by insufficient information such as missing storage locations or missing batch numbers. Errors can also include locked material data, insufficient stock, or attempts to post goods movements in the wrong accounting period.

Prasobh
