Dear Community,
our customer has asked us to add the field "Text budget" in the Current budget upload template, obviously they want to update also the budget with it. Furthermore they want to add this field "text budget" as a mandatory field in the line item, for any expense or cost position. In the end they want that this field exposed in each report in Sap. Is it possible? ...maybe as a data field required of the document type characteristics? Could you please give us any suggestion.

I think this is possible. At least for App Import Financial Plan Data app.

I am assuming you want a custom field in the line item of the expense account of the journal.
you will have to explore the creation of custom fields and extend to the reports you need.
I think we had a limitation on planning level in the past. So sure if we face the same thing yet.
