CO11N / EWM synchronous posting / Handling unit

Hi all,

Since S/42020 we have an option of synchronous posting directly to EWM bin. There is also a possibility to automatically determine packing specification in MIGO.

Do you know whether the packing specification can be automatically determined also for auto goods receipt via CO11N?

Hi Marcin,

Yes it is possible. Pre-reqs are:

1. Maintain package building profile for autopack

2. Update WPT

3. Under Sync GR settings (MG Path – SPRO –> IMG –> SCM Extended Warehouse Management –> Extended Warehouse Management –> Interfaces –> ERP Integration –> Goods Movements –> Make Settings for Synchronous Goods Movement Posting ) maintain the WPT and package building profile mapped - example below

Is it working? it seems it works fine if we use MIGO to post the GR but not via CO11N? srabanjit.guha : Standard logic of building packaging itself seems not getting called from CO11N? @marcin.cieslak : Did you managed to successfully create HU from C011N also? Thanks.

Sadly I think Srabanjit was wrong, or did not get the question. It seems SAP is not looking for packaging specifications during Automatic EM in Confirmation (CO11N).
