Clarification regarding ESG

Hi,

My doubt is about Employee Subgroups.If two ESG share a same level at organization,how should i maintain their codes in Sap.Is it required that the employee subgroup should be maintained in level wise.Does it have any impact if it is not maintained that way.

ex:  Consultants and Developers are at same gradation.(Level).So how codes are to be given.

HI SAP HR ,

Please find the below comments on Employee Sub Groups :

Employee subgroup represents a subdivision of the employee group.This Employee Sub groups will have impact on the below highlighted   . 

  • Payroll accounting
  • Primary wage types
  • work schedules
  • Pay Scale Groups
  • Time Quota Types

I would suggest to go ahead with the Grades in the company .

EX: A1 - Jr Mgnt

       A2 - Middle Mgnt

       A3 - Top Mgnt

This will help you to provide the benefits ( Wage types ) On Employee sub group wise and You can also write  the PCR's on Employee sub groups .

As per client,the esg are managers,Assistant mangers,Consultants,developers.I was confused as which sequence i need to maintain for consultant and developer(as both are at same level), thinking it should be in sequence form(ex in the form of reporting)

But i found that sequence really doesn't matter in esg.
