CKMLCP Last day of the current month

Dear Experts,

My requiremnt is like blow please suggest.

Clints wants to Submit all MIS at last day of the month. Client wants to close all transaction (all MM entries) by 3.00 PM. of last day assume 30.06.2015. After 3 PM he will start month end process of CO (Assume PP also completed by 3.00 Pm)

He wants to run month end of CO (Variance settelemnt of production orders) at 3.00 PM it will take 1 Hour

At 4 Pm he wants to run CKMLCP is it possible to run on the last day of month (Assume FI and MM periods are opened for next month July)

Please suggest it is possibel or any other way to do this....

Hi Chandra Sekhar,

(1) CKMLCP is executed for Previous Month in case user wants to post closing entry. This effectively means that mm periods must be closed (next fi period must remain open to post closing entry reversals)

(2) Further, we had few mathematical calculation errors that pointed to the entry date of material document, even though the posting date was of last day of month. Transaction sequencing in price history (ckm3n) was based on entry date and this generated error.

Keeping these two factors in view, closing might be safe if the calendar date changes to next month.

Thanks for your reply.

I explained all risks but still client wants to close ML last day of month.

In second point you mention that there is generated erron can we do something for this.

Clint wants to submit MIS last day of the month without fail, Can you please suugest on this. how can we achive this requirement.
