i want to know how system determine checking rule for sales order, i searched for this a lot and i found procurement type and strategy group/mrp group what else ?

Checking rule is determined by Availability check in the material master which is inturn assigned to
Mat. type+plant+availability check
these are determined by requirement class
based on requirement class requirement type is dispalyed in the sale order.

Hi,
There are 5 steps in which system checks
1. Strategy Group in MRP 3 View
2. If SG is not defined looks for MRP Group
3. If MRP Grp is not defined then Material Type
4. If M-Type not defined Item Category and MRP Type
5 Finally Item Category alone.
