Changing the credit horizon from months to days in P23 system

Hello Team,

In our system we got a request to change the credit horizon from months to days. We would like to know if it is possible to change the credit horizon and what are the implications by changing this horizon and what would action items to be taken if we change credit horizon from months to days.

The horizon is defined in Customizing (transaction OVA8). The time units correspond to the settings for statistics structure S066 in transaction OMO1.
So to change the time units for credit horizon to days, you need to change the time period split for credit value updates in OMO1 transaction for infostructure S066.

The setting for infostructure update affects the update for all credit accounts. Also, in order for it to be correctly used and effective, the credit values should be recalculated with report RVKRED77 first.
