Changing Exchange Rate in MIRO

Hi

We created one Import with exchange rate 55.00 (in PO header details). We have not ticked "Exchange Rate Fixed" in PO

We created GRN on 31.12.2012 and entry got posted with OB08 rate at exchange rate.

Now I want to post MIRO at today's posting date. I want to change exchange rate in MIRO. But now system is not allowing to change exchange rate in MIRO. Exchange rate field is greyed out in MIRO. Please let us what could be the reason or what we are missing.

Note: I cannot maintain OB08 exchange since rate at which I want to book MIRO is different than OB08 "M" exchange rate.

Please suggest.

Done

1) Goto MIRO

2) Enter Invoice Date , Reference, Text and other details. Further, it is necessary change the currency to USD or any other foreign currency in which PO is prepared.

3) Go to Details tab page & enter the exchange rate that is required. If there is any warning, press enter and go ahead. Note: Exchange rate should be entered before entering PO Number.

4) Enter the PO Number, press enter and other steps as usual.

Hi- on MIRO screen, before entering PO number, exchange rate field is open for editing. Enter exchange rate first and then enter PO number.

Hi,

Before entering the MO number enter all the mandatory fields and enter the Currency and exchange rate.

This will fufill your requirement.

i think yu can by putting the desired rate before the PO is called. it may give warning
