Hi everyone. Have a nice day!
I am a newbie in this field. Currently during my study, I had a questions about MM module as follows.
Hope you can help me. Thank you
【SAP (MM)】This is a question about system operation in SAP. Based on the business rule that a Purchasing Requisition must be made 60 days in advance for items such as new parts for which the delivery date cannot be predicted, standard delivery lead time (LT) is set to 60 days for new part numbers. How should I operate SAP as a standard usage?
Issue: Currently, I make Purchasing Requisition with an LT 60 days, and after the requirement explosion, the purchasing department negotiates the delivery date with the customer for the parts that have been set to LT 60 days, and rewrites the delivery date to the correct delivery date. But at the site level, it causes confusion as to which LT is correct , and it also induces delivery deadline.
Hello ngapt10,
When you create PR/PO system will calculate the delivery time as per defined rules. But actual date will be considered which is input on the line item. When you place the PO to Vendor the delivery date on line item will be considered to receipt of goods.
