change consumption period unit to month or quarter

for make-to-stock strategy , we entered demand plan which is reduced by sales deliveries with backward consumption 90 days in screen "Maintain consumption mode and period of adjustment".

the question is how we can change consumption period units to be months or quarter instead of working days?

so, how could we neglect previous quarter remaining quantities at first of next quarter with solution other than deleting qties.

It's not possible to restrict the consumption period to a month or quarted. This value can only be maintained in days and this time window cannot be restricted to a specific month on the standard system.

You may try to develop something using BAdI MD_PIR_FLEX_CONS but I'm not sure if it's possible or if it isn't too complex.
