Hi all

Is it possible to force kill the sap log in session from SAP module other than restart SAP Server using SAP Business One 2007B version and MSSQL 2008 Server?

The manager sap user is not able to log in for one week.

Hi Kedalene,

The B1 session may only be killed from client. Even if you kill process in SQL server directly, it will reconnect immediately.

If you are using Terminal Server / Citrix Server, it will be easy. You only need to kill user session there.

Thanks,

Gordon

In addition to the suggestions already in the thread, you can open SQL Management Studio and run sp_who2. The results will give you SPID of open SAP connections (as well as some additional info about the connection), which you can terminate using the kill command.

Hi Kedalene,

Yes Possible.

You can do it through Task Manager.

In Task Manager >>>> Process find SAP Business One.exe and SAPbouiCOM.exe.

End both above Process and after ending above Both Process You can Login again in SAP B1.

Hope this help

Hi Arul

So you mean need go to every computer to do this task?

Is there any other way to end this sap user login session without going to individual computer as user is not able to identify which computer has been logged in with manager sap user login for few days?

Hi Kedalene,

No, You have to perform this task in System where you want to Log.

But if every User is having this Issue then you have to Perform above task in every System.

By the way How you are connecting to SAP Server ???

Thanks

Hi

I'd rather restart SAP License Manager service at SAP server machine.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Run below query in any one of the system to find logged manage id and then restart that machine to fix.

SELECT T0.[UserCode], T0.[Action], T0.[ActionBy], T0.[ClientIP], T0.[Date], T0.[ProcessID],T0.[Time] FROM USR5 T0 WHERE T0.[Date] = CONVERT(VARCHAR(10),GETDATE()-7,110)

Thanks & Regards,
