Cancellation in MIGO

Hi All,

Can anyone please explain the reason behind why I am able to cancel a material document via t-code HUCANC but I am not able to do so with the t-code MIGO and selecting cancellation from the drop down menu.

When i try to use MIGO (selecting "cancellation"), it just displays a message that "material document can not be processed". Can anyone please shed a light on this?

I don't know much abt Handling Units, but i think HUCANC does all the reverse process in HUs and also MIGO reversal.

Do MIGO with 102 so that this takes care of reversal.

thanks for the reply Sri, but 102, i think, is for the the reversal of receiting the stock via an OBD.

But when you select Cancellation for a material doc., it does not cancel it. That's the main thing I am concerned about because I would like to use the functionality of MIGO, where you can do most of the things, instead of going through other transactions. Any ideas???

you can cancel your material document using T.Code MBST

MBST is not working for me. It still comes up with the same msg as it came up in MIGO... "Material Document can not be processed". Is there anything specifically i need to do in MBST? It could be the thing that I am doing something wrong, i just filled in the details with the doc no and year and date, and nothing seems to work.
