Cancellation Billing Document - Manage Billing Document

Dear SAP Community,

if we use the app "Manage Billing Documents" to cancel invoices, they will be posted on the date the billing document was created. In case the period is already closed, the journal entry does not get posted.

Using the app VF03 to cancel the billing document with a billing date can solve the problem.

But, is there an opportunity to use the same with the app "Manage Billing Documents"?

Hello Annika,

at the moment this functionality is not supported through the "Manage Billing Documents" app in a 1-step-way like you do it via VF03.

Can you try the following (if it works out, it will be a 2-step-approach): Create cancelation via "Manage Billing Documents" app. Save it. Then reopen the cancelation document via "Manage Billing Documents" app and change the billing date. Then save.
