Can we run ML consumption revaluation on a daily basis?

Hi,

For some reason we want to run material ledger consumption revaluation on a daily basis so that we can pass the actual COGS to COPA on a daily basis.

If we run the consumption revaluation in CKMLCP on a daily basis will there by any problems to the figures?

Ji, Yes. Technically it is possible. But functionally, the purpose of getting right actual cost of the products, are not fully met. Only the material costs partially rolled up and you will get the actual cost to some extent. Over and above, the business may be misguided over this not so correct actual cost. Hence, it is better to run actual costing run in the month end after absorping all manufacturing cost iparticularly depreciation and salary cost nto the products. Trust this helps much! Cheers!

u can run daily basis also but you won't get the exact actual cost of the product . Some of the exp we can't get on daily baiss(Monthly & daily there some exp may not be differenciate)

because of this majority of the people will follow monthly basis . if its require to run daily basis u need to take care of cogm and cogs cost

Functionality wise No issues at all. You can run daily if you do not have any other technical constraints.
