Can we extend the Employee Business Partner as/to Organization ?

Hi Community Experts,

We have a requirement in our business process as part of E-Invoicing for SA business where the Business Partner(BP) is currently as an Employee. Due to this; the invoice which is generating is showing up in "Simplified Invoice" section in eDocument cockpit but we need this to be accumulating in "Tax Invoice".

This requirement that we are looking for will only meet when the Business Partner(Employee) is extended as an BP (Organization).

Looking for experts suggestions on this issue.

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" and included the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud Master Data" for this question, as Business Partner is a Cross Master Data.

Hello @evans_aarons ,

Employees are created as BPs, they get created as Person BPs. The documentation for this can be found on Business Partner Model in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 

No Person BPs are extended to Organistation BPs, this is not possible in any scenario. Instead different roles can be added to the BPs and they can become Suppliers, Customers etc.
