can I explode BOM in repair order process in customer services

for the in-house repair process firstly, I have created a return order with the follow-up activity in-house repair. in the in-house repair order, I have a query related below issue.

In the in-house repair order process, when we create a repair order for a material, is it possible to run MRP for that material?

when we create a return order for the in-house repair process, is it possible to apply 8 defective processes for that return material?

Can we explode BOM in repair order to know which material is needed to repair the product?

If possible, kindly let me know the process.

Hi rajeswari,

there is no BOM explosion supported in the service processes, such as what you might know from the sales process. A similar function however is the use of the Product Proposal - you can find how to use this function here.
