Hi experts
I'm testing my system, and I found a problem that when I'm using common distribution channel, then all material master can only be created under that common D.Ch.
I know using Common D.Ch is to reducing the master maint's time, but what if I want to create master under D.Ch other than the common D.Ch?
or just my misunderstanding about the use of common D.Ch?
Same issue about common Division.
Example:
I have created 3 Sales Area:
Sls Org. D.Ch Div
wj01 w1 w1
wj01 w2 w2
wj01 w3 w3
and I have created a common D.Ch wz, and assigned it in VOR1
Sls Org. D.Ch Dch-Conds Dch-Cust/Mat
wj01 w1 wz wz
wj01 w2 wz wz
wj01 w3 wz wz
then when I create mat master, I can only select wj01+wz when selecting sales org+Dch.
how can I select other s.org+Dch combination when some mat should not be created in the common Dch?
Request clarification before answering.
From what I understood, my suggestion is that you might try to entry another records as following in defining the common dist. channel
SOrg. DChl. DCh-Conds. DCh-cust/mt
wj01 wz wz wz
Hope it will help.

Hi Jie,
When you are using common distribution channel and common division need not create/extend distribution channel & division specific master data, only you have to create master data for common distribution channel and division and sales order can be created for required sales area combination.
Thanks
