Hi All,

I need to Update the business rule for Texas creditor garnishments:

<b>Present Rule :</b> Lesser of 15% of gross income or the amount by which disposable earnings for a week exceed 45 times the federal minimum wage.

<b>

To Be Changed To :</b> Lesser of 15% of gross income or the amount by which disposable earnings for a week exceed 45 times the federal minimum wage or 45 times the state of TX minimum wage.

This is kind of urgent any kind of help is really appreciated.

Do you have the existing model working?

If yes, then just include the change you need. In the new model, you will have include either 45 times the federal minimum wage or 45 times the state of TX minimum wage.

Hi Arun,

Yes the Existing Model is Working Perfectly Fine.Well initially i thought the same way as you suggested i.e just enter the state minimum Hourly wage as it it is different from the Federal hourly Minimum wage.But that was not approved . Anyway i really appreciate your Response and get back to you guys if have any updates on it.

I thinkk you have to change the rule in schema.

Hi Manoj

This is something which is related to calculating the Non Exempt garnishable amount . we can do this in the IMG under Garnishments > order types > Garnishable amounts.From my understanding i need to create a new model for the Non-Exempt Amount .As posted above they need a change in the model .The problem is in understanding thier new requirement which looks very weird to me.

i hope i was a bit clear this time.Any help is greatly Appreciated.

It seems you already had the model and you only wants to change the Non -Exempt amount

This is already suggested by Mr Arun.

It is just a logic and you want to implement it.

Now is there anything else.

use IMG and do it .

Test it.

If still any problem , pls reply.

Well i did Suggest that method , But it didnt get approved. There is something more in it.
