Business Partner(BP) - EDT Upload problem with Company Code Data

Hello,

I am trying to upload the Business Partner data through EDT( External Data Transfer). We have our business specific custom Roles and the BDT enhancements for the same.

The problem what i encounter is, when i upload the Central Business Partner Data for one custom role(Z*) with the company code data(FIBUKRS & AKONT fields in BUS_DI structure ), I am able to create only the role data with in the business partner. But NO company code data, especially BUKRS(company code) and AKONT(Reconciliation account) are getting stored. I am not sure why this problem i am encountering is. I doubt as to whether the Company code data can be uploaded along with Central Business Partner Data or not.

Pl. help me to solve this if you have already encountered this problem.

Hi Raj,

Try function modules FTB_BUPA_DARK_MAINTAIN and FICU_BUPA_DARK_MAINTAIN_INTERN. which will create general, company code and sales data as well in a single shot.

Hi Lakshman,

Our requirement is not to create/update through DARK MAINITAIN function modules. Except this Company code data, all the other custom roles are updated in our business specific scenario. Moreover, our Business partners are SD customers but specific to our business process. I am able to create the BPs with the company code and it is getting stored in the KNB1 table too. But when i display it in screen, the company code value is missing and i am wondering as to whether any dependent values are there for company code or not.

Pl. share with me your viewpoiint and your past experience with this.
