hi,
in one of the accounting reports, there are some of the customers with blank business area. i have checked these customers and their sales area are defined (otherwise sales orders could not be create). what else were missing?
unfortunately, i have no authorization to spro.
regards,
jan
Hi Jan,
Have checked that business area is assigned to the sales area, which is belongs to that perticular customers,
you can able to check that in IMG only
IMG --> Enterprise structure -->Assignment --> Sales and distribution --> Assign business area by sales area.
This assignment may be one of the reason to not getting business area in the report for some customers.
Thanks,
Murali.

this means that the system can't be able to find out the business area for the customers.
Actually u need to assign the rules for business area determination either it can be derived from plant and division (rule 1) or from sales area (rule 2).
Get authorisation and try to make the assignment in SPRO , it will be fine.
Hope it is useful
Reward points if u found it is useful.

Dear jan_sc
If one invoice contains multiple business areas, only blank space will appear in accounting document. To avoid this, invoice split should happen based on business area. Invoice split can be done through VOFM in which you have to choose Data Transfer --> billing document.
