I need help with configuring a 04X bond issue.
I created a class of a bond 04X(a fixed corporate bond issue). Everything looks fine there in terms of cash flows. Cash flow includes placement SE1200 and SAM7000 (coupons every 6 months) and SAM7100 (repayment). This is 10 year bond with 6 month fixed coupon.
Next I create a bond transaction 04X/300 based on this class and cash flows only include 0120 / SE1200 - Issue placement and 0870/ SE8701 - initial accrued interest. I can't figure out why there no cash flow for SAM7000 and SAM7100 - interest and repayments. Is there another transaction I need to post to post them or is this something to do with the dates?
It looks like I found the answer. This is the CM date setting on the product type which controls the end of term date that causes the issue. Except that now that I've maintained it I get short dumps because of performance issue.

Hi, Jasmine.
Yes, we ahve this note already impelemnted. In fact, it looks like this is exactly what is causing the original issue ( i.e. requiring the CM field to be populated). However, when we populated the CM field as per note, we run into our performance issue. It took about 1 hour for the system to calculate the cash flow for 10 year bond ( almost bringing down oru development system with the amount of resources it used) at which point it short dumped . I'll open an OSS note to SAP for this issue.
Thank you.
