BOM-PR

Dear all

I have raised PR for bom component in me51n.In item detail,material data tab the bom components box and explode bom boxes are available.

But for the same material if i raised PR through sale order,in item detail,material data tab the bom components box and explode tab is not available.

What could be the reason? How to change it?

Hi,

check whether your bom component is relavant to sales in defined bom usage

ie whether optional entry or reqd entry is there.

You want to mark that item in BOM as sale order relevant than your problem may be resolve.

Shobana,

Please check if you are using different PR document type to create the PR's. This may be one of the reasons, as field selection restrictions can be defined based on document type.
