Hi All,

How could i see the which material (materil code) was deleted from the BOM.

The Problem is , in Eq. Bom we have few materials and now we want to replace those materials with new material code.So is it possible to capture the histroy of BOM with old material codes which were earlyir define in the BOM.

Use TCODE : IH05 (Material Structure Display) or IH04 (Equipment Structure Display)

Enter the required Material or equipment

Make a check box with BOM explosion.

It will list out all the BOM materials.

I want to see the material code which have been deleted from the BOM. Is it possible to see the material code now not in the BOM but earlier used in the BOM . Any change documents, log or histroy of the BOM.

Hi

You need to activate the following nodeDefine History Requirement for Bills of Material.

And as per your query the old material code are they going to exist? in your system.

hi

you can check the changes in IB80 ,but it will display the change documents only not the value before and after unless you marked history required for BOM category 4 in OICL .if you activate the same you can only change he BOM using change number only.

This wil list all the BOM used...

Just check it out...

I am not sure, this will show the deleted BOM. or not...

I activated the node with folowing setting

but still i m not getting that material code.

even though you have activated ,you have to create change number in CC01 ,then while changing the BOM use the change number ,then you can get the values in the information system CC07

you can only put deletion flag in the header level ,not at the item level.

In Item detail , under administr tab deletion indicator is present but it is coming gray. can we any how put the deletion indicator for the line item?

it is not meant marking ,if you have marked the deletion indicator for the BOM header and the change number it will reflect there automatically
