BOM Explosion not seen

Dear Experts,

My Equipment BOMs and FL BOMs are not seen in the structure view when gone through IH01 (All relevant check boxes ticked in)

Whereas, these are visible when I go through IL03 --> Structure.

May kindly share the knowledge to troubleshoot.

Hi,

After executing IH01 with relevant check boxes kindly check through the following path. Settings->Field Selection->Components. Here check whether the selection criteria for material is there or not.

I have seen this and found that the Components option is disabled.

This I understood because there is no material display in the screen.

For further guidance please.

Hi,

Yes you are right if there is no material display then it will show as disabled.So simply expand till the last level and then go to settings to check field selection.It will be enabled.

My problem is that only.

The expanding stops at Equipment level only.

No materials are seen under the equipments or functional locations where BOMs exist.

Dear Friends,

I have found the problem.

This is happening because the date value in the Valid From field of IH01 is 31.12.9999.

This I have set to Dynamic Date Calculation with Current Date Name of variable. (In the Variant Configuration)

Now the current date is defaulted in this field and the BOMs are appearing.
