Batch is not picking automatically

Hi Experts,

While I am issuing the goods, the system is not picking the Batch automatically. I have maintained all the configurations and master data related to FIFO strategy.

Whereas, with the same configurations and data the Batch is picking automatically in one of my test system. But, the same has not been picking in new system. And, I am getting the below error. Is there anything that I need to activate for first time usage?

If batches are maintained properly & still not fetching automatic batches, then check the transaction V/C5 is maintained correctly or not

Ensure, the material does not have expired batches. Go to ovm1, select VL203 where you can see W on the right corner which means, system would trigger a warning message. You can change this to error by setting E instead of W

This has been resolved after assigning (OMCW) the selection class and sort sequence to the Strategy type. Now, the Batch is picking automatically but the Characteristic sorting not getting.
